A Spectacular Night at the Omni ChampionsGate

Written by Ben Lawles on Monday, 05 December 2011.

The night turned out amazing as the bride and groom saw their dreams become reality!

This bride was working with Two Sisters Design Company to sketch together their vision. The result was a one-of-a-kind style from full (and I mean FULL) arrangements to unique props that perfectly matched the unique style of the bride. We concentrated on chandelier accents and up lighting with moving lights for the after party.

Like most events, this one was not without changes and challenges. Due to the size of the party, we had to create the ceremony and then flip the room for reception. This comes with its own challenges of time and what seemed like thousands of vendors in the room at once all going at top speeds. You will see in some of the pictures that Misti (photographer) had to come in a little early (10 minutes before guests) and the LED up lighting was not quite set on one side of the room. This was because it takes some time to remove an entire air wall so we ended up stumped for time waiting.

A White Wedding at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando

What an amazing wedding!

Four days of setup for Darcy and Bill’s wedding at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando, and it was all worth it.

What a night it turned out to be!

As Billy Idol says, "it's a nice day for a white wedding" and Bill and Darcy's gorgeous all white inspired wedding and reception were no exception! An amazing team was brought together to make the event extraordinary and it certainly did not disappoint. To top of a beautiful day, Bill and Darcy were a lovely couple who truly knew how to have a great time (just check out the dance floor that was packed all night!). Enjoy Bill and Darcy's Waldorf Astoria wedding.

Elegant Wedding at the Don Cesar in St. Pete Beach, Florida

Written by Ben Lawles on Thursday, 23 June 2011.

We had an amazing time working with Dan Hathcock at Unforgettable Events on this event. The Don Cesar was a beautiful venue with specific challenges. With the hotel being built in 1928, events of this size and scope were not on their minds at the time they designed the building.

The venue sports a very small loading dock (less than one truck width) that is higher than regulation, and a “freight elevator” that is smaller than their guest elevator. With our 23 cases, 32 pipe and 6 large bases, it took us 6 hours just to get cases in the room. Fortunately with the great staff at the Don Cesar, they made it possible to get in the night before and setup this beautiful event.
